Zippy Zap Hot Sauce is one of my favorite hot sauces that I love to have on my table. It has a tasty spicy flavor that’s not too strong and not too mild, just right as I like it. I always order this sauce on a monthly basis. But last week, I made a copycat recipe for it, and it turned out so delicious! It’s not exactly like the original one, but it’s so close.

I kept tasting the sauce and kept cooking it until I found the final results I was looking for, The ingredients I use are so simple to find and basic for any hot sauce recipe.

  • 10-12 red chili peppers (such as Fresno or red jalapeños)
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 small onion, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

How to Make Zippy Zap Hot Sauce?

In a saucepan, toss in the chopped chili peppers, garlic, onion, vinegar, sugar, and salt.
