It’s been a while since I made a homemade Turkey Burger. I used to make this type of burger at least once a week, but you know, times change. So, I was looking for a new, fun, and, of course, delicious burger to try. That’s when I heard lots of people talking about the Barefoot Contessa Turkey Burger.

This Turkey Burger was created by Barefoot Contessa, whose recipes I love. So, I didn’t hesitate to try it at home. I added my own special touch to it, and I really liked the results—a juicy, creamy burger packed with delicious flavors that I can enjoy for dinner or as a snack.

I only used tomatoes, lettuce, and some pickles as toppings for this Turkey Burger, but there are so many options to choose from. It’s up to you! I also added Green Onion Cream Cheese to make it juicier. I think adding a creamy sauce of your choice could make the burger even better.

How to Make Barefoot Contessa Turkey Burger?

Step 1:

In a big bowl, mix ground turkey, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic, salt, pepper, parsley, basil, and scallions. I use my hands to mix until it’s all together. Don’t mix too much or the burgers might get tough.

Step 2:

Use your hands to make each piece into a round patty about as thick as your thumb. Press your thumb in the middle a little.

Step 3:

Make the grill hot on medium-high. If you don’t have a grill, use a big pan on the stove on medium-high.

Step 4:

Put a little olive oil on the grill or pan so the burgers don’t stick. Put the turkey patties on and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side.

Step 5:

If you don’t have a ready-to-use Green Onion Cream Cheese Sauce, Mix soft cream cheese, chopped green onions, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until smooth.

Step 6:

While burgers cook, lightly toast the buns on the grill or in a toaster.

Step 7:

When burgers are ready, Spread lots of the cream cheese sauce on the bottom of each bun. Put the burger on top, and add lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, and cheese if you like. Put the top bun on and Enjoy.
