Green Onion Cream Cheese

8 ounces of cream cheese (softened) 1/2 cup of finely chopped green onions

Start by taking the cream cheese out of the refrigerator and letting it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. While the cream cheese is softening, wash the green onions thoroughly under cold water. Pat them dry with a paper towel, then finely chop them, including both the white and green parts.

Once the cream cheese is sufficiently softened, place it in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Add the finely chopped green onions to the bowl. stir the ingredients together until the green onions are evenly distributed throughout the cream cheese. Make sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl to fully incorporate everything.

Transfer the blended mixture to a serving dish if you're serving it immediately. If you're preparing it ahead of time place the green onion cream cheese in an airtight container and refrigerate. Allow it to chill in the refrigerator before serving for the best flavor. Enjoy.
