1/2 cup popcorn kernels
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons melted butter
Salt or other seasonings to taste (I used cheese)
Chili powder (Optional)

Put the Whirley Pop on the stove and turn the heat to medium. Add the oil and wait 2 minutes.

When the oil is hot, put the popcorn kernels in, I also have some chili powder for the spicy taste. Close the lid and turn the handle to keep them moving.

Keep turning the handle. You’ll hear popping sounds. When the pops slow down, usually after 3-5 minutes, take it off the stove.
